Good but…

Everything works the way it is supposed to but the water tank refill light comes on even when the tank is full. I have to unplug the power to the unit and -lug it back in to make the light stop showing tank needs refilling.

Works great!

The water from the tap in our home has a very unpleasant metallic taste to it. For years we've been buying those big blue jugs and using a water cooler to dispense the water. This way of getting fresh water is good until you run out and are left with having to run out to the store, lug these massive water bottles, pay for them and repeat this process weekly .
There's nothing about this that is convenient so when I found this reversed osmosis countertop filtration system I was very excited to try it.
I don't really know much about the osmosis process all I know is that I've heard it is very good and the water dispenser at the grocery store to refill our big blue jugs is a reversed osmosis system, so I figure if I'm paying for it at the store why not be able to use it myself at home.
First thing I noticed was the size of the system was big, a little bit concerning at first because I have a very small kitchen with not much counter space already. It took some moving around but I finally found a good spot for it. For size reference the photo above shows a true representation of the size of this filtration system compared to a regular Brita jug.
The process of putting it together very simple most of the filters were already in place except for one where you have to put at the bottom of the jug. It should be noted that two jugs are included which is great because you can keep one in the refrigerator keeping your clean water cool. Be sure to remove all the little blue packing tape, including one that is underneath where you place your cup to dispense the water I nearly missed that one.

The processis simple you fill the back container to the max line with tap water, place it back onto the machine, it's very easy it but does get heavy. It's also a bit awkward that it's at the back and I have to move the water filtration system every time I need to refill it. I have it set for automatic therefore the osmosis filtration process begins without further intervention, it is very quiet as it runs and fills the water pitcher.

Once full simply place your cup under the dispensing area and fill your cup being mindful of the size of your cup versus the options of ounces. You may dispense the water directly from the water pitcher.
The dispensed water so pure and absolutely asteless which is exactly what I was aiming for ! Very happy with this water filtration system that will surely save me time and money.
I would like to add that the very first time I used the filtration system I ran it through two entire processes before it flushed out the residue and the water became clear in my glass.

Easy setup, crisp clean water (tested)

Was a little worried this would be too big on my counter and wasn't sure if it actually was going to work.

Both issues, no problem.

Doesn't take up much space at all. We were using large containers of water for my cottage which took up even more space and we had to drag them back and forth all the time. This thing just sits there, and looks great doing so. We bought some water quality testers as well as sending samples to the labs, everything came back perfect. Such a great way to have portable clean water.

OMG I am so grateful for this

I live in an apartment where I have no water softener but loads of calcium and magnesium in my water. Water filters aren't made to tackle that so I've felt I had no choice but to buy bottled water for me and jugs of spring water for my cats. I finally found this machine which claimed to remove just about everything from water. Not only does it do the job but it's so much more convenient than those water filter pitchers you have to fill up every day! With this machine I can keep one pitcher in the fridge and have one already on hand at the machine. If I take that one to fill my cat's water fountain, the machine starts to refill the pitcher again right away. One thing you have to remember to do is to EMPTY the back canister out BEFORE refilling it. I didn't realize the machine creates wastewater, so when you just keep adding water to it you're running that wastewater back through! This machine is an absolute lifesaver in my house and has already saved me so much money.

Great countertop solution for pure water

I already have an under-counter reverse osmosis system, so I wanted to see how one of these countertop ones would compare. So far I am most pleased with it. The entire thing has a minimal footprint and very nice design - you get the option of using the pitchers (two are included) or filling up an individual glass, mug or cup. This will not cool the water, so the two pitchers are perfect for keeping one in the fridge and one on the dispenser. That way you will always have nice, cold pure-tasting water. In this regard, I would consider it superior to my under-counter one. Filters last virtually forever. The unit is very well designed and has a nice modern look. Once you go reverse osmosis, you will most certainly never go back!
