OH310 Radiator Heater

I bought two of these OH310 to heat the bottom half of my house. I was using natural gas that ran about $200/month. Since I have solar I figured these electric heaters could run for "free". NOPE. At max heat they ate up $357.00 in 30 days running 24/7 for a jump of over 1000 kWhs my solar was not producing. Back to gas.

I especially like the digital control panel and remote control and the heater knowing which mode in which to operate. My old one had knobs for temperature and it was very unreliable. Room would get too warm at times so it needed constant monitoring would definitely get another one for my bedroom in evenings when the heat pump has difficulty when outside temperatures fall and to the lower 20s abd below.

Perfect for my son's room. It heats up the room very quickly and I can even put it in economical mode which is perfect.

I was skeptical after reading the reviews mine did not have a smell. I was also worried about this not being enough for the size of my apartment. Its in the 30s here right now and i only have it on the lowest setting H1 i do have a fan on always and it probably helps circulate the heat. I have a 1 bed 1 bath 1 living 1 kitchen 1 hallway and stairs. Thankfully this might help lower my heat bill since its only on the 800watt setting

I was skeptical to buy it for my daughter's (5 yo) room, for some reason that room is the most cold in the winter and most hot in the summer. The room is a tiny Californian size room, 10ft x12ft I believe. So when I bought this, it was like a good addition to our not super efficient central heating system. I don't leave the door closed for simply not to overheat the room. I set in 70, then by 11pm change it to 68 and the room remains 68 all night/morning long. It's provides peace to my mind that she will not get cold at night when she throws all her blankets off, and the most important, I don't have to wake up every hour to check the temp, to cover her up,... So, very happy with this product! Will recommend it for sure!
