Accessibility

DREO is dedicated to making our website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

For those users who need it, our goal is to facilitate access to our websites using assistive technologies, such as a screen reader, text to speech or speech recognition software, screen magnifier, and/or keyboard emulators.
All pages use valid, structured, semantic HTML5. Visual styling is provided by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and enhanced user interaction is provided by JavaScript.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of items we have implemented to enhance our webpages, so they are as easy as possible to navigate for all users:

Site layout

Our webpage layouts are structured for easy navigation for individuals using a screen reader. We use semantic HTML5 with appropriate tags to distinguish content headings, sections, listings, tables, and other formatting features so that guests can easily and consistently use the website with assistive technology.

Alternative text for images

Wherever images appear on our webpages, a text-based alternative is provided for screen readers to read the alternate text content.

Audio and video captions:

Many of our webpages contain audio and video contents, and wherever it is feasible we provide a text-based alternative, including captions and transcripts.

Text and background colors

Our webpages are often rich with content, images and functionality, and we consider accessibility in our design and content creation process.

Zooming

Most modern browsers support page zooming functionality, to allow users to increase or decrease the size of the page content without loss of content or function. Our webpages are optimized to use the browser zoom functionality. Users will be able to zoom-in or zoom-out for most parts of the webpages.

Keyboard accessibility

Most parts of our webpages can be accessed using only tab-based keyboard or keyboard emulators to navigate through the site.

Browser support

This website is regularly tested to render correctly on most recent versions of Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Google Chrome, using a variety of assistive techrologies. We recommend using the following web browser / screen readercombinations for an optimized experience: For Windows users: JAWS and Internet Explorer or NVDA and Firefox For Mac users: VoiceOver and Safari or VoiceOver and Clhrome For mobile users: Voice Over for the iPhone and TalkBack for Android devices.

Third party provided components

Many of our webpages use third-party-vendor-provided components. While DREO cannot control third-party components, we encourage our vendors to provide content and components that are accessible and user friendly.

User generated content

Some of our webpages use social media widgets that contain user-generated content and images. DREO does not control user-generated content, including whether it is accessible or user friendly.

How to activate the Accessibility Menu

If you don't already have access to assistive tools, such as screen readers, we provide free web enhancement tools that allow site visitors to customize their user experience. To access these tools, open the accessibility menu in the bottom right corner of the screen.
