My new Dreo fan is exactly what I have been searching for to combat those super hot, uncomfortable nights. It is uber quiet, has a timer for limited used, discharges chilly air, display shuts off after sittin it, no annoying lights which have to be shielded by clothing, as well as being extremely energy efficient. It is also very easy to adjust, using either the built-in console or the remote. The fan's power is also fantastic. We have it in the doorway to our home office with multiple gaming computers, and it has made the room so much more comfortable. I also thought it was fairly quiet, even on its highest settings. Have 2 other Dreo fans. If I'm in need of a fan, Dreo is the 1st manufacture I look at. This tower fan replaced an outdated and old tower. This fan is super quiet! With the 9 speed settings this thing moves some air. Very powerful. Noise level, this is the quietest fan I've owned. The base of the fan snaps together, looks like two screw holes, screws not included, I put in two screws so the tower does not turn in the base and fall out. For a standard size bedroom, puts out enough air on speed #3 and #4. Very quite on those two speeds, does not wobble or make any noise's. Cord is pretty much standard length, the plastic base seem sufficent for supporting the tower and the cooling efficently is excellent. I ordered white and the color goes just right ou our bedroom. It also seems to be a quality fan.
