Fan Doesn't Work

Excessive Wobbling
•Make sure the blades are properly installed on the blade iron posts.•Turn the power off, support the fan carefully, and check that the hanger ball is properly seated.
Remote Control of Fan is Erratic
•Make sure the battery is installed correctly. If the command indicator light keeps flashing, indicating low battery, install a fresh battery.

I searched & searched every available ceiling fan, visited many stores searching for the right fan. Had wanted one made in the USA but apparently there are no longer any made here. Saddened by this but forced to choose an alternative, came upon the Dreo smart fan. Living in Texas fans are not an option but a requirement. Im very happy with the air flow & light of this fan. It is extremely quiet & the installer commented while not familiar with this brand found it to be a very well built & easy to install fan.
I hope it will last for years to come
Great fan and easy to install, and moves a lot of air. The light works great and I love the ability to change the color and brightness. All from the comfort of the remote or my phone.
I purposely bought Dreo because I had a good experience with their tower fan. The build quality on this fan is good. I just want to warn about misleading information from their support. I got two emails from Dreo telling me that the fan would work with standard downrods since I wanted more than 6" clearance. I bought the fan and a 1ft downrod. The downrod did fit but their proprietary wiring is barely long enough for the included short downrod. You would have to do a lot of cutting and soldering to extend the wiring for a longer downrod. Not exactly a lie but VERY misleading. I am out the cost of the downrod.
Looks fairly nice, except the clear ring around the light seems tacky. It's all plastic, which is a downer, but is fine I guess and hard to tell from below. The DC motor is excellent and super quiet and uses a ton less power than old AC ones. Moves a lot of air, even on lower speeds...I can't imagine needing to use it at the higher spettings. Light gets very usable brightness. App is EXCELLENT. I wish they had some of the features they have in the higher model pedestal fans, like temperature sensor and ability to automatically set speeds according to that...it would be more handy in this than the floor one I think.
After owning several Dreo pedestal fans, I decided to give the ceiling fan a shot since I needed one best purchase I've made in a while. Make sure you get the Wi-Fi version as you get more options as far as scheduling and speeds and such. Wonderful product
This fan was so easy to put together and install! The room was so dark before installation, now I have several settings including the one my wife likes so much,,, BRIGHT!!! The old fan also sounded like a commercial aircraft compared to this one so overall I am extremely happy with this purchase.
This fan is light (plastic), easy to install, has good instructions, has a bright light, and really moves the air around. I deducted 1 star for the casing. With the remote receiver taking 1/2 of the room, there really isn’t much space for the wires so it’s time consuming to get the wires capped and make things fit. Also, i couldn’t get it to flush up to the ceiling so there is a small gap. Overall, a great fan. I hope it lasts a long time.
Installation is super easy. Hangs a bit low, which you'll only be able to tell when the light is on. The brightness did surprise me in a good way. The fan is super silent. The built is all plastic so it is pretty lightweight. The remote control is easy to use, only thing I do not like is that I can't use the same remote on all my ceiling fans, but to fair I think their was an option for that, just didn't look into yet. They do give my house a modern look and definitely look more expensive than the $75 I spend on each unit.
Purchased this fan for a bedroom. Because of many reviews I read I ordered the smaller size. People referred to it as small but mighty. Not so much for me. It was easy to connect to wifi. There just was not enough air circulation for me. I have 2 plug in fans from the brand that are amazing. The fan is fine. I think I just chose the wrong one.
Great fans. So far all is working well, very easy to install and circulating air really well in the areas I installed. Especially with these heat waves this is helping a lot. The light is very bright, but has dimming option so that’s helpful.
Just got it today. Fairly easy install. The fan is crazy quiet even on high. Air output I'd rate an 8/10 for a 42" fan. Looks really good. Several plastic parts but it is a $119 fan. Connected insanely easy to the dreo app and integrated into my google smart home in a couple of minutes. Your color options are various shades of white. Light output I'd a solid 10/10... This thing is bright. Comes with a good remote control but you can also use the phone app or Alexa or Google. As long as this thing holds up, it's a solid buy for a sub $200 fan. Well done Dreo!
I've been in IT for 35 years, so I don't have issues with getting smart devices going but I do recognize how difficult some things could be for other people. Wow, can I say Dreo conneting to my cell/app and then to Alexa was a breeze. Never had a product that made things as simple as that. I honestly thought there must not be a way to make things easier, I was wrong, this worked with ease!
As for the fans themselves, I replaced two existing fans, bedroom with a 42" and in my home bar a 52". Build quality is superb and fans run near silent with 0 wobble. These are also the first ceiling fans I've installed that basically came with a spin balancing kit in case there was wobble!
I already have a Dreo tower fan that I've been impressed with so decided to try their 42' smart ceiling fan out.
In the last few months I have purchased several smart ceiling fans from different brands, all have been good, the Dreo one excels in several areas.
Very little assembling to do, the others required more assembling, which made the install quicker and easier.
The app (Dreo app - Android) is slick, integrates super easily with Alexa, honestly, the best I've used.
The light, I mean, cannot look at it bright, if you crank it up.
The fan works great, moves plenty of air, does make a little noise on max, but most of that is the noise of the air flow.
Other thing I noticed, the remote control box, is branded by Dreo and is more substantial than the other ones supplied with the other fans, the other ceiling fans seem to use a generic off-the-shelf controller, which you can actually purchase on Amazon to convert a ceiling fan to remote, but this does show you that Dreo have designed their own controller and I think it shows in how well the remote control, smart functionality, app and Alexa integration works.
Also a plus, it has ETL, DOE, and FCC certification.
Do I have negatives? Yes, very minor though.
The mounting bracket is not wide enough to fit a standard 4 inch ceiling box, one screwed into the box, the other I just used one of the supplied screws to go into the stud. The other ceiling fans fitted fine with a 4 inch box.
Personally, I think they got the instructions wrong for the connecting the controller up, I found it much easier to install and wire up the controller to the existing wiring, insert the controller into the slot,then slot the down rod and fan into the mount, and finally connect up the controller box to the fan.
Great paper instructions and video. Very easy and quick install. Works great with Alexa. The app install was trouble free. Remote works great.
Fan does move a lot of air, 12 speeds, light is awesome and adjustable as far as brightness and color.
All in all very pleased with it.
This is a really well made fan. It's super easy to install. The size is perfect for the bedroom. You can adjust the tone and the brightness of the light. The fan is reversible. And it can be controlled with a remote, a phone app, alexa or a wall switch. This is a great fan/light combo and a great price for it.
Love this fan. Very quiet. Lots of breeze even though only 3 blades. Light is adjustable so can get very bright with plenty of light or dim it for less. My husband did have some issues with the install mainly due to the remote device that goes into the fan at the ceiling. I would definitely buy it again.
I took a chance on this DREO ceiling fan last month and honestly can't believe how much it's changed my daily routine! Setting it up took me about 15 minutes - way easier than I expected with almost everything pre-assembled. The app control is amazing - I've created different settings for morning, afternoon, and evening so the fan speed and lighting automatically adjust throughout the day. Being able to switch between summer and winter modes without climbing up there is a game-changer (my previous fan collected dust half the year because I hated the hassle). The light is super bright when I need it for cleaning but dims perfectly for movie nights. And it's so quiet I sometimes check the app just to confirm it's actually running!
Super bright LED...thankfully it is dimmable, because if on at full power it is blindingly bright.. On the lowest settings, the light is soft and warm enough. Several fan speeds...this thing is small but mighty. Direction can also be switched for summer/winter. I didn't install it, but the person who did said it wa easy. Came with directions but also came with a whole manual. Also has remote and remote holder for the wall.
Super simple to install and use. The fan functionality is great and blows strong amount of air, and the light feature is wonderful as well with the ability to easily adjust the light settings via remote or app.
Another great fan by Dreo, 3 blade design pushes plenty of air the light fixture will not be for everyone would fit some bedroom or living spaces but like most things design and style will be subjective. The lighting fixture does provide plenty of light for 15x20 room.

Another excellent product from Dreo. The fan works great, is quite and puts out a good amount of air. It works perfectly with Alexa and the mobile app. My only complaint was that the installation took me a little bit of time. Though I think this is more an issue with my house and how the previous light was installed. Overall very satisfied and know it’ll be reliable based on my other Dreo products.
I have several Dreo products! Honestly, all of them work great! This fan is a nice high-quality, it goes up super easy! My kid loves how bright his room is now! I also love that I can control it from Alexa so when he falls asleep, I can just turn it off! The remote control is super convenient and makes it so it’s pretty easy just to have one switch instead of two! He also loves the remote and controlling it from bed!
I would highly recommend this fan for a kids room! It keeps his room very comfortable, and the fan is pretty much silent!
